Experiments in Electronic Sound is a festival of experimental music concerts hosted by the Herb Alpert School of Music at CalArts. We will present four concerts in our ROD Concert Hall from September 25 -27. This is an open call for proposals. All variety of applications are welcome and we believe that a diversity of voices, perspectives, and identities will create the most wonderful sonic events. The concerts will feature experimental music including but certainly not limited to: improvisation with interactive technologies, electro-acoustic music, noise, and field recordings. Improvisers, composer-performers, and groups are welcome to submit proposals as are performers who would like to present new or recent work
